Orientation

In order to help you settle into studying at GELI, we have developed a comprehensive orientation program where you will meet GELI staff and fellow students. During orientation, you will provided with important information such as where to go for your classes and who to ask if you need help. Please be sure to arrive in time to attend orientation. 

Orientation runs for two days from 8am - 1pm on the Thursday and Friday before your English program starts.You are required to attend both days. 

Students will participate in:

• Placement testing (if required)
• Information sessions about GELI and Griffith University
• A welcome morning tea to meet other students
• Campus tours
• Class allocation

What to Bring:

• Passport
• Current Australian address details (see the ELICOS Student Address Details form (DOC 472K))
• Current letter of offer from your Griffith University undergraduate or postgraduate program
• A copy of your English test results e.g. IELTS (if available)

All Students (except MEAP)

Brisbane: You will arrive at Griffith University Mt Gravatt campus and meet at the Auditorium in building M23. 
Gold Coast: You will arrive at GELI, Griffith University, Gold Coast campus, G52 International building.

MEAP Students

You will arrive at GELI, Griffith University, Mount Gravatt campus, Level 5, M14 International building.
