English Test Preparation

English Test Preparation (ETP) is for students who are planning to sit a proficiency test such as IELTS, ISLPR or Password. ETP provides an overview of the tests and introduces students to a range of helpful test taking strategies. Students can use this program to develop their language proficiency and to help them achieve the required external test scores for entry into DEP Preparation, Direct Entry Program (DEP) or their chosen university degree.

ETP is available to students on an academic pathway from EAP 1 level and above. There are a number of pathways available for students who do not meet these entry requirements.

• Duration: 5-20 weeks (five-week modules) depending on the student's progress
• Class hours: 20 hours per week
• Independent study: 5 hours per week
