Pathways to Griffith University

GELI provides students with a number of pathways to Griffith University depending on your current English level. One of the most popular pathways is the Direct Entry Program as students aren't required to take another English language proficiency test before entering the University.


Recognised Proficiency Tests:


If you have a recognised Proficiency Test score (that will be less than 12 months old before your course start date) an offer will be made into the appropriate level as per the chart below. You will not need to take an English language test when you arrive.

If you do not have a recognised Proficiency Test score your offer will be made for 5-50 weeks. You will take an English language test when you arrive for orientation and you will be placed into the appropriate level.
