IELTS4grads is the IELTS Academic test. All the standard IELTS test procedures and policies apply. The only difference is that the university will cover 50% of the test fee to international students of Griffith University who meet certain criteria and who complete the survey questionnaire.
IELTS4grads is available to international students at Griffith who have completed (or are about to complete) a full Griffith degree program e.g., Bachelor, Masters, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, PhD.
You may only apply for IELTS4grads once per full degree.
It is not available to Study Abroad, Exchange, PQP, Diploma or domestic students.
You must complete the Academic version of the test. However, the results from this version of the test can be used for all purposes.
Within three (3) months before or after graduation.
You may take IELTS on any test date offering the Academic version of the test providing it is three months before or after your expected graduation date.
Please note that tests fill quickly and are usually booked up several months ahead. You are advised to book well in advance.
IELTS4grads can only be taken at the Griffith test centre. No other centres participate in this program.
Candidates apply for the IELTS test in the normal way but must provide official documantation of graduation status at time of application (this can be obtained from the Griffith Portal or from Student Services).
Each person will be eligible for partial reimbursement of one test only.
