Mixed English and Academic Program

Mixed English and Academic Program (MEAP) is for students on a pathway to Griffith University through a Diploma or Foundation Program at the Queensland Institute of Business Technology (QIBT). You will study four days of English per week and one day for your academic subject taught by QIBT. You will receive credit for the one completed academic subject in the Diploma or Foundation Program.

Entry requirements

• IELTS: 5.0 (with a writing sub-score no less than 5.0, and no other sub-score less than 4.5) OR
• TOEFL iBT: 61 with a minimum subscore of 14 OR
• ISLPR: 2 from the ISLPR Eight Mile Plains Test Centre OR
• Successful completion of GELI's General English course with a score of 5.0 from the Password test
• There are also a number of pathways available for students who do not meet these entry requirements

This enables students to receive their letter of offer and confirmation of enrolment for their Mixed English and Academic Program/Diploma/Griffith University Bachelor program together.
