DEP Preparation

DEP Preparation teaches students the skills and tasks that will be more fully developed in Direct Entry Program (DEP). DEP Preparation is an introduction to the university teaching and learning format with a dual focus on both English language acquisition and academic skills development. Students who successfully complete DEP Preparation will continue onto Direct Entry Program (DEP).

Please Note: 

  •  Eligible students can take the Password test:
     ◊   Upon arrival on the Thursday morning of orientation, immediately prior to the commencement       of DEP Preparation OR
     ◊   If they are in General English Level 5 or English for Academic Purposes Level 1 (or higher),           immediately prior to the commencement of DEP Preparation. 
  • If students do not meet these entry requirements there are a number of Pathways available to enter their degree program.
