Degree students

GELI continues to provide support for students through degree program studies through programs that have been developed for the Griffith’s English Language Enhancement Strategy.

When you've finished your English studies at GELI and go onto your degree program you can be confident that you will receive support through programs such as:

• The English Language Enhancement course is one component developed to boost the oral and written English language skills of international students and other students whose first language is not English and to maximise their chances of succeeding in their academic studies.

• EnglishHELP

EnglishHELP is a free English language program for all Griffith University degree program students. We provide individual English language support for International students and students from non-English-speaking backgrounds. We also offer intercultural communication workshops and workshops to help students improve their grammar and writing skills.

• Student Linx

Student Linx is run by current Griffith University students and facilitates social and cultural activities for all Griffith University degree program students. Student Linx  provides free events that are tailored to our diverse student population and give you the opportunity to get the most out of university life.

• IELTS4grads

IELTS4grads is for students who are about to graduate or have recently graduated from a full-length Griffith University degree. IELTS4grads is a Griffith University program that reimburses students half of the IELTS Academic Test fee.
